but awwwh good, i love xie lian and am happy to see him! is he coming in post novel, inquiring minds

but really imagine these two both cooking. then cry. either way, always up to bad decision crew getting their game on for the mxtx protags, so I'd love future cr if you're game for it! (also if you want to keep tdm thread game canon or not, and so forth)

but! he is indeed. c: i just finished devouring the novel last week and there's no way i can app him as anything but post-novel pls don't make me relive that sadness again i beg

CONFESSION THOUGH i actually don't know much about wwx apart from vague twitter threads and pretty gifs but i am so glad xl may make another bad decision friend (rip hua cheng, rip your peace and quiet) so yes please and thank you!

LMADS yeah its nice to have xie lian allow himself to be loved and trust in that love and support after his centuries of being worn down and existing in a depressive state near perpetually to the point of no longer feeling pain...

ITS FINE I only got familiar with cql myself in septemberish, mostly october, finished watching in november? or october. WHAT WAS IT LIKE i have no idea, but yes

it's more that wei wuxian, like xie lian, is self sacrificing, takes on burdens to himself, but! cql version focussed (he's much more of a gremlin in the novel) he's also insatiably curious, too intelligent but lacking certain common self preservation senses, and wickedly inventive........... and a necromancer
