i'm like at this point with as much as Lan Zhan's been pouring energy into Wei Wuxian he might help as a stop gap, since it doesn't seem to be about using spiritual energy so much as kind of. dialysis. of spiritual energy. i wonder if he could break it up a bit since demonic energy does fall on the side of cql resentful energies (more yin heavy, i feel, and that seems to be the ghost/demon Thing in sv) but also
