The Maiden's portrait is on the wall, and will initially be cloaked in shadow for The Aristocrat to find. It appears remarkably lifelike, almost as though it is a window instead of a portrait. The other paintings on the walls will contain figures that are almost familiar to The Aristocrat and The Valet - as though they could be someone they know, but only if they squint. There is no electricity. Characters will not have access to any powers. But he, the painter, took glory in his work, which went on from hour to hour, and from day to day." ⬡ For Your Exploration Should characters leave the Painter's studio, they will immediately be transported outside, to a sprawling field of wildflowers. There won't seem to be anything else around, but there will be a light breeze and the sound of the sea in the distance. Inside the studio, the air is stale and musty, smelling of oil paints and turpentine. It's dim, lit only by a skylight. There is a stool for the subject and an easel with canvas sitting in the light, but everything else - art materials, more canvases, both empty and with the beginnings of paintings, and props - are all pushed to the sides of the room and cloaked in shadow. Like The Chateau, there is no electricity, and characters will not have access to their powers. The Library ⬡ Welcome! Free from their roles, through either death, completion of the Story, or from not being pulled into the tale in the first place, characters will find themselves in the gardens outside of the Library itself. As always, it will look and feel like a temperate, autumn afternoon. As this setting is part of the Library itself, characters will have full access to all their powers. ⬡ Grand Opening Coming Soon! The front door will, unfortunately, be locked, and a sign will be taped on the doors, detailing how the Library will be opening soon, but in the meantime to please enjoy the grounds and the pizza party in the courtyard. ⬡ Pizza party? Pizza party! In the courtyard, there will be tables set up that will be absolutely covered in stacks of paper plates, 2-liter bottles of any soda one could dream of, and stacks and stacks of pizza boxes, containing any flavor combination that could be desired. Opening a random box will provide a random, but popular, flavor. Opening a box with an Intent and a Desire for something specific will provide exactly that. Enjoy! The Studio

[She opens her eyes and there are wildflowers all around her. Usagi can feel her heart beating, her fingers touch the edges of the flowers as she passes through them towards an open door that seems to lead to a studio. Everything is open and unlocked as if it's waiting just for her, everything laid out ready for her to use.

Except, she doesn't know what she's supposed to be doing even though she's picking up the brush before she could think about it.]

Alright, this will be a one of a kind painting by the great artist Usagi!

[She scrunches her face up in concentration as she peeks over at what she's supposed to be painting. How difficult could this be? Some paint here, some paint there, some color for fun and there!

Not really a masterpiece so much as a crude gathering of lines and splashes of paint that had gotten all over the canvas and her in the process.]

PIZZA!!

[Usagi had left the place where she had been before with the hopes and dreams of living out her life with her friends and loved ones only to find herself here but that didn't stop her from smiling as she arrives at the party.

They would want her to be happy, to smile, to put what had happened behind her especially on such a lovely day. And to make it better, there is even free food!

What a lucky day!

She knows this could be a trap of the enemy, she should be doing her job but her stomach grumbles in protest at the thought of resisting the beckoning smell of pizza. Alright, first, food. Second, she will try to be serious and gather information. See, responsible!

Almost instantly she's at the table, picking up a piece of pizza in each hand eagerly before realizing someone next to her seems to be staring. She gives a nervous laugh but doesn't put down the pizza slices.]

You can't blame a girl for wanting pizza when it smells so good!

The Studio

[Okay, so. He's pretty sure his memory is mistaken when a young lady walks into the room instead of some gruff older guy. Maybe he adopted a little sister, or something. Or maybe this isn't the artist at all. But Jyushimatsu's face scrunches up - not even sitting on the stool - but he peers over her shoulder, looking at the painting as she declares that she's done.]

Kind of abstract, but I like it! You've got a talent, Great Artist Usagi-Chan!

Finally someone appreciates my natural talent!

[She knows it's terrible- she's never been talented anything like it before but she had put her heart into and that is what mattered so she beams brightly at the compliment.]

I'll even sign it since you're so nice.

[She picks up the brush and with a look of intense concentration, writes out the characters for her name and a little bunny at one corner of the painting. There! Now she was a real artist!e]

Waaah, really? You know signed paintings are that much more valuable! I'm not gonna sell it, though. I'm keeping this massive game-winning homerun of a painting and putting it up somewhere!

I've never been too good at drawing, myself, but my Ichimatsu-niisan is a super good artist...and so is my husband....I think?

...I'm really confused as to everything happening right now, but it's okay!
